... pain but only gave me 10 for next 2 days, i have left over trazadone from last year when i had depression, would it help me to take these for the pain when the percocet is gone also have gabapentin from insomnia last year also, would these help with the pain. My pain scale during accident was definetly a 10 but now 4 hours later it is still about a 9. Thanx for all input
Dollabil; Really the ones you have at home will not even touch the pain And with all the new regulations many places that in different states can only give 12 or so pain pills at a time to any patient. And when you think of it your going to see the doctor in 2 days this day is almost over but you just have one more day to go to use the balance and that would be like 5 a day you should be fine try to sit and keep the leg up to avoid any swelling and you should be just fine. You have to be very tight with your Percocet and keep them where nobody else can get to them. best of luck and hope the pain level goes down ASAP. chuck1957
Just take the Percocet as prescribed or less if you don't need it.
DO NOT TAKE/MIX prescriptions if a health care professional does not know that you are thinking about doing this!
I would not take any "leftover" meds for anything unless they are not expired. Depression meds are for DEPRESSION. Not for pain! Likewise...
Insomnia meds are for INSOMNIA. Not for pain.
Just give the Percocet a chance to work, why are you anticipating a situation that is unknown? If you've never taken Percocet than I'd suggest that you should be extremely careful while on them!
