I was much like you but About 2 years ago my numbers started getting worse. I'm 70 and I completed 24 weeks and yes it WAS and IS worth it!! The first few weeks I had headaches but as soon as I stepped up drinking more water to Half my body weight in ounces the headaches disappeared! I did have fatigue issues but I took the pill in the evening, slept well and I think that made a considerable difference. I ate healthy, exercised and never missed a pill or an appt with Doctor. My results... virus free and a liver free of any damage! Yes, indeed it was worth it!
I finished my 8 wk tx on April 11th. I quit drinking coffee prior to tx and kept my water intake up and didn't notice headaches really unless I wasn't drinking enough. After my first week or so I actually started feeling better than ever. I would get mild cramps in legs once in a while and noticed my BM's were getting irregular. Someone suggested eating a couple prunes before bed and it really seemed to help. Now that I'm off of it I still feel run down in the evenings and my spine has been aching. I'm just trying to get the medicine out of my system now and hope I'll feel 100% soon. I think most people tolerate it pretty well. I had a low viral load and no liver damage shown so I hope 8 wks was enough to clear it out. I go for my cure labs in July. Good luck to you.
