I tried all the "traditional" medications for this disease and either they didn't work or I could not take, so 1 of my doctors put me on these two meds(which I didn't want to take) but I hear all the time these do not treat TN.. also I am on Baclofen(which doesn't seem to do anything).. I was just wondering if anyone else is taking either of these?
I can relate to you I have TN, spinal stenosis and fibromyalgia and take Oxycontin & Percocet for the chronic pain. Unfortunately those don't do much for the TN which is so unbearable. The gabapentin or neurontin I took before for TN didn't work and I didn't like the side effects. Best of luck! Chronic pain, especially head pain, sucks!
