My husband has had tingling and numbness is his arm and leg for over a year, along with back pain.. had mri of back and it showed bulging disc and arthritis. Dr. wants mri to rule our other problems. I am worried about brain cancer, which uncle had. Dr. doesn't think mri results show reason for numbness. could these symptoms for this long indicate anything other than a brain tumor or MS. . I am an anxious person and always think the work regarding medical problems.
you said " had mri of back and it showed bulging disc and arthritis"
so if he has a bulging disc this could explain the numbness & tingling in his leg(s). Was this a ortho surgeon or a neurosurgeon that ordered the MRI? If not, his best bet is to see one or the other.
Also, was something else said about the neck MRI? If there's a bulging disc there, same thing I say, see a specialist.
Bulging discs can create those symptoms in a leg or arm.
