I have what myself and the drs believe is a gout flare. I went to the ER 4 days ago unable to walk on my foot, the prescribed me prednisone and hydrocodone for the pain. The prednisone has helped with the swelling and seems to be subsiding. My question is I'm on day 4 for the prednisone and still can not bend my tow upright without pain making me unable to walk correctly still how ever i can bend it downward somewhat. Is this common with gout? Or could this be something else?
