I googled about the same and I have most of the symptoms of auto immune disorder. Also i have some anxiety issues. So i just wanted to know if I require medication of not.
I recently was reading a book about autoimmune disorders, there are so many of them it's insane. Just about every female in my family has one( myself included)
Of course, you probably know a doctor has to tell you what to do since they would have to prescribe you the medication ;) But in my opinion, before you jump on the bandwagon of medications I would get a lot more testing done, it would be worth the wait. You need multiple tests done at different times to accurately diagnose thyroid problems. You should google thyroid issues associated with anxiety, or go to the library and get a couple of books on autoimmune disorders( I can't remember for the life of me the name of the one I just read :( ) Or type in the symptoms you have the most often for the longest amount of time with autoimmune disorders... There are so many that affect the thyroid but are treated extremely different. I have cirrhosis of the liver now because I was misdiagnosed due to not enough testing, I was being treated for the wrong thing. Also, dig deep into your family history because a lot of them are hereditary. GOOD LUCK !! <3
