Can thyroid lead to disability?

I seriously doubt it. Its treatable. Millions of people work with thyroid problems.

Hi captcrunch,

I can understand why you would ask this. It can take years before you feel like your old self again when your thyroid goes out of wack but I don't think you can get disability. Maybe short term from work because you cannot function but with time the synthroid or other meds for thyroid start to work and for some of us get back to normal.
