... feel better im currently on a thyroid med called synthroid been on it for a few years i dont feel any different from when i started it !
You need to see an Endocrinologist often when you feel like this. She/he will give your Synthroid an adjustment then you get a blood test between 6-8 weeks to see how it is working out for you and then you see her/him again to adjust until you feel better.
Your TSH should be between .3 and 3.0 to feel normal. However, we all have our own energy so it should adjust where you feel good. I suspect your TSH is around 7 or 8? That would be old school medicine. If you haven't gotten your regular blood tests and seeing the doctor every six months, it is essential to do so. Remember, this is.a life time medication and we have to be our own advocate. Our body changes over time and so our need for thyroid medication dosing will also change. Let us know how you are after you see the doctor.
