My joints in my hands and ankles feel swollen but do not appear to be. This pain has been going on for the past few weeks off and on, when the weather started getting cold.
You may know that I have Fibromyalgia and Chronic Myofascial Pain (CMP). I do get stabbing pains on my the body. Sometimes it is a very hot stabbing pain. This is caused by CMP. With regards to my fingers and thumbs I get the weirdest sensations that I cannot even describe some of them. One that I get is like fine pins and needles in all my fingertips and thumbs. This sensation makes touching thing ,even my finger tips touching each other painful. Another one I get in my hands, fingers and thumbs is Mega pins and needles, really painful they feel as if they are really big (Odd way to describe it but that's how it feels to me). That's my experience anyway.
Hi Srgryclown. You are going to feel pain in areas that you didn't think could hurt. The other day my eyeballs had pain shooting threw them. Pain is the name we carry with Fibro. I'm going to ask my Dr. About chronic mayofacial pain. I've learn don't be surprised when pain hit from different direction. Hang in there. : (
