I was told that the strings just had to be cut down. But the strings are actually leaving marks on him. That's not supposed to happen right?
I've read the opposite of the previous responders. Your string might be instead too short already. I remember the analogy of blades of grass being used. Imagine when grass is long..it's softer, more easily manipulated and flexible. Once cut short, it's rigid and sharp to the touch. There's no room for movement. The same goes for your string. It needs to be long enough to bend and almost spiral around laying flat against your cervix. When cut too short he would feel a prick when the penis applies pressure. I have only read this and have no medical facts to support it, but it makes so much more sense to me.
