... nodes. I have undergone lymph node dissection and radiation and there is no detectable evidence of disease. However, given the number of lymph nodes involved I am considered high risk for this cancer returning. I am afraid it is just a matter of time. Are any of the new drugs being prescribed for people at high risk stage 3c disease?
Yes there are new drugs such as Tafinlar, you need to check you skin every day and lymph nodes, this can also get in your eyes have them checked, you will have to stand on this the rest of your life, learn all you can about it, I have it to, but if caught early it is much better, go for skin checks as well, I go every three months, we can get educated we will live longer, check these parts as well, head, toe's. bottom of feet, finger nails, even where sun does not get to, if you notice a bump, red mark that does not go away a bruse that does not go away, anything unusual go get it checked right then, hope in the future they will come up with something to help us not to fear, but until then be on your guard, my best of luck for both of us.
