... loss?? Success rate??
I've been on it for 5 months (half dosage at 5 days on, 3 weeks off). So far, no weird side effects. The only complaint I have is that it intensifies problems I already have, such as neuropathy, arthritis, and chronic fatigue.
I'm not a transplant candidate either, so my prognosis isn't great, but my oncologist is optimistic about the Vidaza extending my life by 3-5 years (as opposed to 1-2 w/o treatment) with a good quality of life. I am in the small percentage that is likely to develop AML, which is why those numbers are so low. But so far, so good.
