Hit me after this wknd when I was taking over 120mga day and it was a four day wknd. Might not be a lot for some ppl
Hi there. Since you did not say what medication you are taking I can't answer the question. Directly.
But your general implied question is easy to answer. If you are worried about something you are taking then trust that feeling because you probably are taking too much. We are happy to help out and sort this out if you provide more information such as what, how much and why you are taking medication.
There are a lot of people here who will understand. Ok? This is a safe place to talk.
Welcome to this really great site. First of all, there are a lot of people on here, non-judgemental, that have been or are in your shoes. I have walked several miles in your shoes. Two years ago, I was on 180 15 mgs of oxy's a month. But they did not have any tylenol in them. Along with getting yourself hooked on the oxycodone in percocets, you are about to kill your liver with all of that tylenol. So, not to be cruel or judging you as I said I've been there, you are at a great risk of doing grievous and maybe irreparable damage to your body, your temple. I know something about addiction and how I got of of oxys, but I am a chronic pain person that happens to be crazy too. I can tell you, that when I was running out of oxys with nothing to replace them, the mu receptors in my brain started screaming for more opiates, I got so sick I thought I was going to die, not kidding.
I digress, if you are taking a months supply of percs in a week, then go out in the street to buy more of anything available to stop whatever pain you are in, maybe emotional, certainly physical, that is the definition of an addict. You are letting drugs and the procurement of drugs control your life.
I never got so bad to resort to the streets, but had many of the issues you now are finding yourself in.
There is one very special great person that is my friend that has more experience with your problem. I will contact her privately and let her know what is going on. Her name is Pattishan, she helped me out immensely. I can't even explain the support and information she provided me, and checked on my progress whenever I would answer. Let's get this problem fixed before you get thrown in jail or die. Not what anyone wants for you. This time is in the beginning, we can help you stop before it's too late.
Be talking to you later, I will friend you and if you go to your profile page and friend me, we can talk privately.
Peace my new friend, stay off the streets, you just never know ...
The Sweet Hippie Chickie
Hi inoutraged -
Honestly, I am surprised you have never failed a drug test? If you honestly do need pain medication and you come up with a dirty drug test, what then? Are you going to turn totally to the streets then? I am more concerned for you than I think you are concerned for yourself! I don't want to see anything happen to you because of bad... very bad choices you are making. I don't know how "useless" your husband is but you sure are going to need support.
I think you know you have more than a pill problem after reading some of your responses. I'm not sure if you have a death wish... street drugs are more than just dangerous - how do you know what you are really getting??? Maybe one day while you are thinking about what you are going to do... you'll have a heart attack - choices over!
I don't mean to be harsh... but you sound kind of cavalier about the whole thing. What is it that you want to do??? When you post that you are took 120mg a day (didn't mention of what) in a four day weekend... and might not be a lot for some people... that suggests you are on some kind of race to get to that next high. Your heart isn't going to keep up with your cravings and your mind doesn't care about your heart health or your liver health as your cravings keep growing.
You need help YESTERDAY! You need the support of your family, a doctor who specializes in addictions and time off work like a medical leave (if you work). If you have a prescribing pain management doctor, I would come "clean" with him/her before you get kicked out of the practice and have no where to go.
As many people have suggested to you... AA is a wonderful place to go to be with people who know what you are going through. They don't judge and neither do we. But you do need support in your offline life. I don't think you can do this alone because you are all over the place with what you take along with what you legally get.
Being numbed out is no way to live. I wish you would talk more about what your health issues are that you are on pain management and get that monkey off your back!!!
I want you to get the help you need and the respect back for yourself that you have given up on. You need to be alive to feel how great life can be. You can be dealing with some bad health issues and still have quality to you life. It seems that the choice is clear... are you strong enough to make the right choice?
I wish you well and I pray that God gives you the strength and courage to take the next step... go for help. We are here for you... please let us know how you are doing and how we can continue to support you.
Blessings and more peace to you in your world.
