... was told I'd have to come off all my meds and just take paracetamol, has anyone been in the same situation, and could it make me worse afterwards?
Always get several opinions, talk to different doctors and if you can, make a specialist appointment with a spinal surgeon, there are other procedures that can be done, such as steroid injections, nerve blocks, which is something I'm considering at the moment. I had a lot of massage and physio during my pregnancies due to sacrum and lower back pain. This helped. Also make the swimming pool your best friend and see a physio, who will set up a water program for you. I would see other doctors concerning medications you can take while pregnant. Hope this helps.
