I worry a lot and stress about things does this mean I have anxiety?
Are you worrying and stressing about things that are worthy of your concern? Or are you just worrying and stressing over things out of your control? There's a big difference. I worry about my grown son who seems to make bad decisions about his life. But I have to keep telling myself that he is a grown man, and that my input is not anything he wants to hear. So I just have to shut off the concern and pray that he will snap out of it at some point. So far so good. He has been doing better lately on his own. But still in the back of my mind I think he is just one more bad decision away from disaster. Evaluate your life, worry about things you can affect positively, and throw out the ones you can't. If however, your anxiety comes from nothing you can put your finger on, that's a horse of a different color. Then it may be time to discuss this with your doctor. See if he/she can give you something to help you cope. Best of luck to you.
