I've been seeing mental health professionals for a year they have ruled out bi polar but I go for an adult adhd assessment this week I've been taking quietapine for a year as well as citalopram and propranolol which doesn't help at all
Quietapine is the Generic name for Seroquel, which is a drug for depression, as is Citalopram. Propranolol is for High Blood Pressure. It's important for you to know that I am not an M.D., I am a Psychologist, but I have a lot of experience with the first two meds you mentioned. All I know about Propranolol is what I have already told you.
So, basically, you are being treated for depression.
If I were you, I would relax, and wait for your assessment. If you are to found to be diagnosed for ADHD, I'm sure your meds will be changed.
Hi, i take Seroquel for BPD, but i also have ADHD. The Seroquel was prescribed primarily for the BPD as it is an antipsychotic but i believe it is helping my ADHD symptoms also. I take Citalopram alongside, as you do, which was prescribed for chronic depression. Both of these medications seem to relax me and dull my irrational thoughts and help me focus.
