My girlfriend has been sick. She seems to have finally gotten over it, just a stomach bug but lack of rest brought it back. The first time, she threw up and then had diarrhea a day later. This time, more vomit (a week later) and blood at the end of vomit. The next day, she had diarrhea again, but with thick, mucous like blood in diarrhea. She had to go to the doctor. They didn't run any tests, just scheduled colonoscopy. She hadn't had the chance to feel better, which she is, and see if it's not related to the illness she had (She hadn't had a BM since). Is it worth the procedure or just see if she's better. (24 years, 115 lbs, 5 ft 6in, good health)
Thick blood in stool?
Added 14 Aug 2015:
Dr originally said probably lack or rest didn't let her get over it, and it just came back since she hadn't felt 100% when she got the second, or possible she got another bug. She tends to, and has always, been more prone to getting sick that others
