... sends me Metformin HCL 500 MG Tab. What is the difference? Both old and new tabs are marked "70" "Z"
Sounds as though you may either have a different generic brand of Metformin (made by a different drug company) or the original manufacturer has changed the appearance of its tablets. Either way you should make contact with the pharmacy and confirm that you have the correct tablets.
