years. How can I get them to release the shipment. It is being help in New York at the port
That doesn't like the type of source you may need. From the way you word this question we may need a little more info to understand this. If the FDA is holding it up there is most likely a legitimate reason. Is this shipment a valid pill shipment or is it smuggling? If it is smuggling it will be confiscated, sorry for your troubles. Have a great day :)
Is this from an online overseas pharmacy? The government (FDA and DEA) are cracking down on these online sources that send controlled substances and other meds without a prescription. It is illegal in this country to get prescription meds without a prescription. Only OTC meds are allowed without a prescription. They have found many of these so called pharmacies are selling expired, counterfeit and drugs that would not pass inspection here in the US so they are inferior products. They might contain impurities or substances that are illegal to use in the US like high levels of lead, for instance, or substances that are known carcinogenics. There is no way to get them to release the shipment until they are ready to, if ever. It may be confiscated. It may be possible after they begin to crack down on the pharmacies, that they could start going after their customers too. It is never a good idea to obtain drugs from these so called pharmacies that offer Rx drugs without a script. You could get into trouble or you could get very sick from these products, be it from bad ingredients, or perhaps not enough of the drug or even not the drug you think you are getting at all. They might say it is one drug and send something different. There is no one to regulate these facilities. Please, in the future, only deal with reputable pharmacies and be sure you have an Rx from the Dr for all your meds.
