what do i ask or tell the psych. about my condition that his last three changes didn't do anything but hurt my finances between him and the pharmacy.the adderall only worked once and now i am up to 60 m.g.e.r.in the first and another 60m.g.e.r. the second, should i get off the extended release meds and ask to go to 90 m.g. i.r./each dose or ask him to switch to something else and to what do i switch too/ dexedrine/or desoxyn.i don't think he will go for either one with out a sleep disorder test and that is the last thing i want
The adderall doesn't work anymore @ 120 mg. A day,do I ask for more or a change and to what?
Added 15 Sep 2011:
i would say most of my problem is narcolepsy 90 % and the rest add/adhd,but i don't think falling asleep standing up talking to your boss at work falls under adhd, sleep attacks quite often.even after a good nights sleep i will be driving and falling asleep while i am talking to whoever is in the truck.
What is it you're being treated for? And what is the reason why you feel the medication isn't working? (Just want to make sure I understand :] )
Please disregard the other comment about certain disorders not being "proven". You are dealing with something and are on this site for help. I will give you my input as soon as I know a little more. Hope you're okay with answering my questions because I'd love to give my opinion of what might help you improve your situation. Just so you know... most of the people here want to help. So PLEASE disregard the comments that are obviously not geared towards helping... those people have personal issues they need to deal with. Hope to hear from you soon!
