38 Y/O Male with starting T level of 230. Three days on Testim. My question is this... I shower in the am, apply as directed, sit in front of a fan for a couple minutes, put a undershirt on and then another, washing my hands and making no contact along the way. But, we smell it ALL over the house. The smell isn't offensive, but if we smell it on the couch or remote, am I transferring it to my wife?
That's a good question. If you are washing your hands with soap and water, there should be no residue to transfer. However, as the body heats up, and you perspire, you may be re-activating the gel, and so, you may be smelling more of the alcohol or the drug drying again.
It sounds like you have been careful not to cross-contaminate, and so, I would be confident that you are not transferring it to your wife. I assume you are showering with soap and water before becoming intimate with her or anyone else.
Personally, I find that my tee-shirt will smell faintly of Testim when I remove it, but after routine laundering, I don't smell it. Also, I don't find the smell offensive, and I don't smell it "all over the house", as I have usually applied it at the gym, midway through my daily routine.
The fact that you sit in front of a fan, probably is dispersing the molecules through the air currents. Can you try sitting or walking in your bath or dressing room without a fan blowing? That may contain the smell somewhat.
