Ok, there is no definitive test. You have to have wide spread pain, mood problems, and sleep disorders mainly. There are other symptoms that can go with it. You also need 11 of the 18 specific tender points. Tests are done to rule out other things that can cause widespread pain. A rheumatologist is the dr to see for diagnosis and treatment.
