I also have lower back pain which is affecting my legs. What can I do to alleviate the pain in my elbow, back, and legs?
Hi Elizabeth... I would start by icing your lower back and that should help both the legs and the back... also 2 tylenol every 4 to 6 hours would help if you are okay with tylenol. If not, perhaps the doctor can give you a pain medication such as Celebrex or Tamadrol which are both pain medications. Next I would not be on my feet as much as possible as the pressure is being put on your back when standing. The lower back pain sounds like it may be a pinched nerve which will affect your legs also so helping the back pain will help the legs also. You may try the same regiment with the elbow... icing and pain meds. Hope this all helps. I, too have back pain and doctor stated it was a pinched nerve and it actually has caused my knee to collapse when I try to get up which is scary so please get a grip on your pain and stay off your feet as much as possible.
