1996 diagnosed does this mean i no longer have fibromyalgia? YET still have all other symptoms... Can tender point areas decrease
What DZ said is correct. Unfortunately there is no cure for Fibromyalgaia (FM),
which means that you still have it as do I. However there are treatments as you know.Also current thinking with regards to tender points is that they are not a good factor to take into account when diagnosing FM as they assess pain in local areas of the body when FM is a widespread condition. In addition the tender point assessment was not designed to be used as a diagnostic tool. It was created for patient selection for a research project into FM.
