... twice to ask a nurse basic questions. Can I have a drink and can I talk Benadryl for the flushing. Both times the nurses read me word for word the information I received with the starter kit. Since it's not stated in the information, I was told to call my doctor. I wish I could get Tecfidera using Shared Solutions and Prime Therapeutics was always helpful and polite. They can't answer because it takes some digging to find out. And then I'm not sure. I can find nothing that says you should not have a drink. I am wondering if it would make the flushing worse. I was in the professional info, So your dr probably knows nothing more then we do.
I did find that you should try an aspirin 30 min before you take the pill. for the flushing. And take the pill with food. I also found that you can take benadryl when you're on it.
