hi how are the all i want to ask if there is obstruction in tears canal of the small infant how the message can be done and what the indications of the surgery
Hi saad hashim, I'm not really sure what you are asking. Are you talking about putting tubes in the infants ears due to chronic ear infections? Are you talking sinus, eustachian tube blockage, or tear duct blockage? Please clarify your question, so that we can answer! Also, are you asking if you can do massage instead of surgery?
Hello. I know this well as my baby had it when born. It continued for months. The massage is simply a very light pressure at the base of the bottom lid in the corner by the nose. Be very careful and always have just washed hands to prevent infection.
What you need to know is though it looks weepy, it is actually because the tear duct has not fully developed. As the baby grows, the duct changes position and often spontaneously opens. Could take six months. In my child one did. When the other did not open, the pediatrician opened it. Very standard. You don't get to watch as a parent. He said we get too concerned. Done in the doctors office and takes about thirty seconds.
Please do not hurry this. Most cases fix themselves. The child will be fine. At this point hugs and holding are the key. :-)
