Humira belongs to a class of drugs called TNF blockers and can lower the ability of your immune system to fight infections so that you are more likely to develop illnesses such as chest and fungal infections, colds, flu and fever.
Some of these infections can be serious.
It is best to try to avoid contact with people who have infections.
You should discuss your particular risk with your doctor.

Other than Crohn's disease I am a healthy 32 yr old. I never used to get colds however my toddler goes to a daycare and gets "daycare sick" every other day. I have experienced far more sniffles etc since humira but no more so than prior really. I am also on azathioprine so it's a double whammy. free discount card
