on tasigna for few years being treated for cml
chuppa, welcome to the site. I have been trying to research your question, & not finding much concerning your query. It does state that female should not take this med while pregnant or breast feeding, but I couldn't find anything about it being passed through the sperm & affecting the fetus. I believe a quick call to the prescribing doctor may be your best bet at this time to get your answer. I really doubt that this has happened, but to put your mind at ease, please call the doctor that has you on this medication to be sure. Wishing you the the best...
It is contraindicated during pregnancy for the woman, because of direct contact with the med to the fetus. It won't effect the fetus if the man is on it. There is one that does that, and they say it over and over again during the whole length of the article. There is nothing about effecting the male in anyway.
