I have just switched to Armour thyroid. I just started my second month and refilled my prescription. I noticed right off that the refill prescription was different than my original prescription. The refill is the typical Armour thyroid pill with the A marking. The first prescription was a tan, elongated ball shaped pill. It was very small. Almost the size of a dried up english pea. If it had any markings, they were pretty small and I didn't notice them. Does anyone know what this pill might have been? Thank you.
Here is a link to the Armour Thyroid pills
As you can see they all have the A logo, followed by two letters which denotes the mg's of the pills.
there is not a generic available, so I don't know what you would have been given the first month.
You could always talk to your pharmacy, however without a pill to show them you might not have much luck.
