I broke my talus bone 5 years ago rock climbing. When i went to the hospital i was told i was gonna need surgery. After meeting with the foot and ankle doctor she told me the surgery was really expensive and at the time i did not have insurance so she said she just wanted to watch it i was givin crutches and a boot to wear. Now fast forwarding five years i am in pain all the time the pain has never gone away sencd i broke it after a 8 hour day at work i can barely put wieght on my ankle is this normal or should i try to see another doctor about it
jhummon48; yes you have been more than patient, And it is time to get another appointment with this doctor or a new one and just tell them what you have typed here it is getting to the point you can't work and you need something to change. Make an appointment tomorrow don't wait until your stuck in a chair.
I've had a broken Talus before and was shattered into 5 large a few tiny pieces. The issue here is bone union and displacement, so if you ignored the surgery and it has had it now. What can I say? I'm still damned careful after 13 years or so.
