Im taking sprintec on my second month but I didnt take any of my white pills or the first week of the blue ones but started again on tuesday week two could I be pregnant if I had sex on Thursday with no protection and he ejaculated in me
If you missed a weeks worth of active pills then chances are pretty high that you could have become pregnant. It is about as high of a chance as if you were never on birth control at all. You need to take a pill every day. It is recommended when you first start taking the pill that you do use the inactive "reminder" pills on the fourth week. this gets you used to taking a pill every day and reminds you when to start your next pack. Skipping a week of pills puts you right back to starting over. You need to call your prescriber for directions on how to continue your pills and when you will be considered protected again. I have a feeling they may have you stop taking them and wait for your period, then start over, but call them and see what your Dr wants you to do.
