been 2 days and not working yet.
i have tried every kind of relaxer from flexrill, robaxin, and soma. Soma's was the only thing that worked, and it works as long as you don't abuse it so talk to your doctor and let him know if the robaxin is not workin in a day or so that u need to get back to what you was on. That is if you don't mind taking the soma. Nothin else will give you comfort.
Dr's dont like to give any meds that work for pain because they are "habbit forming" so suffer in pain now or forever if its chronic pain or take your chance of withdrawing later I think its a pick your poison type deal. If u just dont abuse pain meds ( vicodin, norco, Percocet, oxycodone, soma whatever it is your taking) your withdrawal wont be that bad, but if your taking them every day for a moderate to long time withdrawal is gonna happen! So pain now or pain later. There are ways to softin the blow of withdrawal, taper down there are other meds to help with it atleast you can plan a time to do so. when pain comes or is there alot or all the time pick your poison. These are just my thughts the DR should give you what works.
