I have some mild chronic back and joint (knees) pain. For a few years now I've been taking 400 mg of Ibuprofen every day before going to bed, which helps reduce the discomfort during the night and makes me feel less stiff in the morning. Once or twice a week, I also take a 400 mg pill before my soccer game (i.e. a couple of days per week I take a total of 800mg daily). I'm generally healthy, with no history of heart, kidney or liver disease. I was wondering if the prolonged use of this drug, even at such small dosage, may end up significantly increasing my heath risks, or if it's a fairly safe dosage. Thank you.
