Any suggestions about Lupin Pharmaceutical quinipril and why it is not working for me? I have been put in the position of trying it twice and both times have had symptoms (chest discomfort, fast shallow pulse). The last time I was able to change to Greenstone and all was well again. Going to try to get that done again.
Been taking Quinipril for 25 years with no problems then prescribed Lupin brand. Doesn't work?

I don't think the doc prescribed the brand change. Pharmacies change who they get the drugs from, based on cost to them. If your pharmacy can't get you the other brand, go to a different pharmacy. Sometimes the generics have different inactive ingredients and it changes the absorption. With something this important this shouldn't be allowed, and I would let the FDA know so that they can do something about it. I'm sure you're not the only one with a problem with it.
