So... ive been taking my bc pills everyday to prevent periods. Skipping my placebo pills and starting a new pack each time for about 4 years. Now i want to switch back to taking them the way they are suppose to. (Meaning i want my periods now) i just started a new pack sunday should i take those 3 sets of pills and then stop that week of placebo pills? Or how do i get back to normal? Please any help. Thank you.
Just take the pills like you're supposed to. Take the placebo pills on the day you would usually take the placebos or just throw the placebo pill in the trash once a day for those seven days ( just to keep you on the schedule of taking your pill every day.). Then start a new pack after the seven days of placebo pills. So, three weeks of active pills, I week of placebo or no pill, repeat!
You may or may not get a period the first month or two, due to skipping your periods for a while.
