I now have had to resign from my job of 9 years & have been told by my GP, Psych & Neurologist that I will never be able to withdrawal! Believe me I have tried! It's impossible, anyone else in a similar situation if be keen to hear from you!
Roverround I have to disagree with your doctors paxil was one of the frist of the new generation drugs out now there are many more now im not saying its easy but it can be done and more so if your not getting much relief out of it anymore sometime they can just add somthing else to your cocktail of meds so plese don't worry you are far from the end of the chain of medications i was on this at least 15 to 20 years and im on a differerent combination and doing preety good now please don't let them discourage you... but find out what is best to add something else along with the paxil or change it but you well need a while of tappering off the paxil while taking a smaller dose of the new drug if you have to have this great doctors send you to a doctor that know what he or she is talking about... chuck1957
