I have been on this medication for over 2 years and it's been a great therapy for my pain. I am under the care of a pain doctor but I am worried about what it's doing to my body. I take no more then 5 a day. I know it would be tough to kick and really don't want to be in pain. I'm just worried I will fall asleep and never wake up. I am really scared my liver will give out on me or other long term effects that occur with taking Norco daily for long periods of time. Please help.
5 a day properly spaced out is not a danger provided you're not mixing other substances including alcohol. Just know that after 2+ years, should you want to quit these you'll be wise to work with your Dr and gradually reduce over a 4-6 MONTH period, or up to 8 months to all but eliminate withdrawal.
