Taking methotrexate (and folic acid)for psoriatic arthritis - developed mouth sores - any solution?

. Stop using methotrexate and using other treatment for psoriatic arthritis.
There is viscous xylocaine that is used as a mouth rinse to numb the pain of the sores, or even cold maalox helps soothe them. The xylocaine is prescription only. You should show your doc to be sure its just the side effect from the methotrexate and not yeast.
use nistatine oral solution 600000 iu po 2 c/12 hours
