Since the administration of Linzess results in stimulation of the CFTR ion channels, resulting in fluids being flooded into the intestinal tract, it is essentially the same as taking any OTC laxative, or, say, cholosterase. This should have been a no-brainier for me, but I have been taking my Amitiza at the same time. Does anyone agree that this is only pulling the Amitiza out of the stomach and small intestines BEFORE it has time to be absorbed and do it's job as a mu-receptor antagonist thereby blocking the binding of Norco???
