Drs got paranoid because I have teens so I was prescribed clonazepam 1 mg. This does nothing for me as far as anxiety or sleep. In fact, seems to keep me awake. Here it is 1 am and I'm actually I have more anxiety because I can't sleep! Normal? My doctor is afraid my teens will sell my xanax on the street. Wtf!I keep them locked up at all times and only use xanax for sleep. How can I convince my dr to give me my xanax back and is insomnia common with clonazepam?
I was taking low doses of xanax for sleep issues?

Fake an allergic reaction to clonazepam?
If you’re being treated for an anxiety disorder, ask your doctor to discuss the pros and cons of each medication. Alprazolam is not an effective treatment for tremors, seizures, or spasticity. If you have MS, epilepsy, or another illness that mimics these symptoms, clonazepam may be a better overall treatment option.
Only you know your symptoms and history there best. Find a way to articulate this. As patients we are our best advocates.
