I'd say the Doctors scales are more accurate too. I like the beam balance type but most surgeries have progressed to higher quality digital scales where the error level is tiny. I use digital bathroom scales and I can upset them by up to a kilo if I try moving (heavily) as it stabilises on a weight. BTW I weigh myself 3 times daily for weight and fluid control uses. If you have one of those old spring bathroom scales all bets are off.
