I am 44 years old and very overweight 267 lbs 5'10. I have been going to the gym for about 9 months lost 15 lbs I don;t eat much atleast I don't think so. No motivation for the gym, depressed, and just want to be alone, I have three small children and I feel bad for them by the time I get off work I just want to go to bed even if I get 10 hours sleep. I am so tired of feeling this way. I thought it maybe just getting older. Just diagnosed with low thyroid I hope that is whats causing all these issues. sorry for ranting, but I feel lost.
The gym, not eating much, I'd have you look into what's available out there, without cost, when it comes to the body & weight loss. Eating less throws the body into starvation mode, and it retains fat. The gym burns calories, not fat. Not drinking enough water causes the body to retain it.
Sounds as though the weight issue is a contributing factor, you can lose a lot of weight, gradually over the rst of your life by learning how the body burns fat (not calories) all by itself. Usually means eating more often, and varying the caloric & protein intake in such a way as to stimulate the metabolism, not repress it as many of us are led to do by eating less and working out, again, the weight loss there is usually temporary.
Your energy will triple just by isolating what it is that's dragging you down, gluten, dairy, soy, sugar (in all its forms) artificial sweeteners, rice (starch), and on and on. google fatloss4idiots, amazing and it works, no gimmicks, no bs, no food to buy.
