Hi! I am 21 years old and I have been taking Ipill regularly every month since a year. I recently realized that its not suggested to use ipill this frequently. Can you help me by telling me the side effects that my body will suffer from due to intake of ipill almost every month? Will it have any effect on my future pregnancy? If I stop taking Ipill now, will it help? Thanks ! The gap between taking two ipill was 4 weeks almost every time. My periods have become irregular due to intake of ipill.
Is taking Ipill every month safe?

I can't say it will effect your future pregnancies, but I can tell you that our bodies aren't made for huge blasts of hormones that frequently. It will mess up your cycle. My other nurse friend and I were just talking about this, wondering if its going to cause some problems in the future. They were not made for regular birth control. They are for emergencies, like the condom broke or rape. They aren't as effective as regular birth control and the more you use them the less effective they can be. I don't understand why young women don't get on regular birth control, there are so many choices and they are very effective, and safer.
