There is insufficient evidence to support Hawthorn use in cases of arrhythmia. I would be more likely to attribute your improvement to a successful ablation than the Hawthorn use. Hawthorn should ONLY be used when recommended by a physician and only for short term use. It can have some significant reactions with other medications like digoxin, some high blood pressure medications (beta blockers and calcium channel blockers), and drugs like Viagra, Levitra and Cialis, and also nitrates.
