My psych wants me to wean off Klonipin. I don't know why he's so against it. I was taking it before I started going to him. I'd rather wean off gabapentin, it's the one with side effects. But its probably the one that helps my anxiety because I don't think the Lexapro does anything anymore. I'm just wondering why regular doctors will give you Klonipin but psychs are so against it. I'm doing good like I am but I worry about being on gabapentin.
You have a right to be concerned. Weaning off a benzo is not always easy. You may want to ask him all the same questions you asked on this site. Some doctor and psychiatrist are OK with a controlled amounts of benzodiazepines and others are not. It has to do with the tolerance and dependence they can cause.
Hope it all works out for you.

I've just been switched from Lexapro 20 mg to Zoloft 50 mg. Been on lexapro 10 years and I think it?
