Not sure why you were told that. It is given for many diseases so may be your friends special need. Take what your doctor prescribes exactly the way the bottle says. Depending upon what you are being treated for, it will be important that the therapeutic level is reached as quickly as they are saying. ESP. With a new med. so if it is four at once or two every 8 hours that is what you do. Don't make it up. You want the effect your doc is looking for at the rate the doc is looking for. This is a powerful drug that can be a powerful help for your particular needs. Powerful means good.
