I'm currently taking Effexor, what can I take for occasional headaches?

Hi, Earwig! Maybe the earwigs are causing your headches? LOL! I know that's an old wive's tale.
Seriously, as far as OTCs, acetominophen (Tylenol) would be safest for you. Both aspirin and ibuprofen can interact with Effexor to cause bleeding problems.
Occasional use would probbly be alright, but try the Tylenol first.

Hello, I'm taking Effexor & when I get headaches(which is not many) I take
Ibuprofen with no problems or side effects. If you still don't know, call your Dr.

if the effexor thins your blood, then you would need to stay with Tyenol. Also check with a dr. or your pharmacy. take care

Hey Earwig. You can take Excedrin, Tylenol, Motrin with effexor. If you get a migraine i took relpax free discount card
