Been on cell cept. It isn't the drug. You can purchase a small pulse/ox at Walgreens or other drug store. That will tell you about your oxygen level.
If it is below 90 (Medicare says 89, but they are nuts)and you are sitting still get to the ER right away. You do need oxygen then. If walking or usual activity causes a drop, get in to the doc right away. If you are gasping between words or parts of sentences, get in to see the doc right away.
Your greatest risk is sleeping. Don't fool around with this. If you smoke, stop immediately. Use your inhaler exactly as often the doc said.
