Thanks for the answers very helpful I'm sorry not spelling out LP aka Lichen Planus. I have started to feel more pain in throat like if I'm getting a soar throat again.
Hello. I have used cellcept. It is to control auto immune responses by suppressing your regular immune system. What that does is it makes it take a lot longer to recover from any illness. You are most probably feeling the effects of the cellcept and the flu.
However, I recall that the actual antibiotic is important as well. Since you are still feeling poorly, are you having any cough that is strong? If so, get your lungs listened to so you can be sure there is not a pneumonia that has snuck in. Cellcept also has some side effects that might be showing up. Get to your prescribing doctor of the cellcept ( call) and see what is said.
I am sorry but I don't know what LP stands for. But if You are having problems walking, breathing, or any major changes be sure to see someone real soon. You don't want lasting effects from this.
Keep in touch. Hope you find your answers soon and get feeling less tired and such.
CellCept weakens the body's immune system and affects your ability to fight infections. Because of this it is going to take longer for your body to fight off the flu. Your flu could be caused by a virus in which case the antibiotics will not be helpful. It sounds as though you should talk with your doctor again.
Taking antibiotics will not harm you but both amoxicillin and penicillin could reduce the effectiveness of Cellcept.
