.I have only lost 2 lbs, I have no idea what to eat or what not to eat or how many calories, any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Starting weight 189.5 and 5 2'.How long does the being tired all the time last?
Keep your diet simple with a limited range of foods. That way you can know the carbs and calories and make correct choices. Also use a fitness app like "MyFitnessPal" for tracking. Keeping your meal options simple and limited may get a little boring but it will keep you on track. I keep it at about 10-15 food options. Personally, I eat a LOT of egg whites (from cartons) because they are low cal and very filling. I also consume a fair amount of meat (chicken and turkey primarily). Look into meal replacement beverages (I use a powder with water only, and 1/2 half the recommended powder, for 100 calories a serving.) Drink LOTS of water (I like sparkling water). Specific to your diabetes, you should have your doctor set you up with a nutritionist and provide you with a meal plan (my specific diet may be too protein heavy for you, for example).
